Previously known as Safe Futures Foundation, Refuge Victoria has grown from its grassroots origins of passionate volunteers to become a statewide specialist family violence crisis accommodation service. Our team of dedicated staff work across more than 50 crisis properties, and pioneered the State’s first Core and Cluster refuge – a model endorsed by the Royal Commission into Family Violence. In addition to providing quality facilities, we work to empower clients with the skills and confidence to reconnect safely back into the community. The people that make up our organisation are compassionate, committed and driven by the belief that every person has the right to live safe and free from violence.
